要旨
Lignin, one of the three major components of lignocellulosic biomass, has garnered significant attention due to its unique features. However, its complex structure limits its broad application. Catalytic lignin depolymerization has emerged as a promising valorization strategy and has made significant progress in recent decades. This presentation explores how the morphology and microenvironment of catalysts influence conversion and product selectivity. Methods such as using surfactants to enhance the accessibility and charge transfer of active sites, hetero-atom doping to expand crystalline size, and thermal treatments to tune the coordination environment are discussed. These approaches significantly improve catalyst reactivity in both thermal and electro-catalysis.
