目的・内容
本シンポジウムでは、アジア各国における赤道大気圏の観測的研究の現状についての情報交換を進めるべく、大気観測技術・解析技術、大気力学・組成等に関する研究成果を発表した。特に重要課題である、「大気圏の力学過程」、「大気圏の化学組成と輸送・微物理過程」、「大気圏の電磁気学的現象」を中心に議論を行った。
なお、この研究集会は、JSPS のアジア・アフリカ学術基盤形成事業 (Asia Africa Science Platform) のセミナーとして位置づけられた。
