目的および内容

本研究集会は、電波科学ならびに電波を応用した各種計測技術等に関する最新の研究成果について発表する場を提供することを目的としている。本研究集会では、各発表の講演および質疑応答の時間を通常の学会発表よりも長めに設定すると共に、40分程度のチュートリアル講演を複数件設けることで、電波科学・電波応用に関わる研究者間の知見・理解を深める。また、20件程度のポスター発表の時間を設定し、学生・若手研究者の育成と横のつながりを強化し、当該学問分野の裾野を広げる機会とする。

本研究集会は、地球電磁気・地球惑星圏学会(SGEPSS)波動分科会、日本学術会議URSI分科会プラズマ波動(URSI-H)小委員会との共催を予定している。このように本研究集会は、プラズマ波が鍵を握る宇宙プラズマ中の物理素過程の理解、人類の宇宙利活用に大きく影響を及ぼす放射線帯物理の解明、さらには電波計測技術を活かした地上観測・電波応用など、「電波・波動」をキーワードにした生存圏科学に関係する幅広い学問分野の研究者が意見交換・議論できる場とする。
