On September 17, 2025, a delegation of 26 students and faculty from BOKU University and the University of Vienna in Austria visited our institute. A joint seminar was held in the Wood Composite Hall.

Following an opening address by Prof. Shinsuke Ifuku, Prof. Takao Kishimoto presented “Elucidation of the polymerization mechanisms and chemical structure of lignin,” and Assoc. Prof. Masaaki Akamatsu presented “Preparation and Applications of Nanochitin-Stabilized Pickering Emulsions.”
