Laboratory of Material Biology
What structures in living things (especially tree cells) are made and how do they function? We are evolving such knowledge in deep.
About
In our laboratory, wood science from a wide range of viewpoints is conducted with variable approaches. In particular, we are actively conducting research on the biosynthesis of wood and its components like cellulose, microstructural analysis of wood cell walls and biomass, and the integration of the social and natural sciences in wood culture.
