The activities of the Research Institute for Sustainable Humanosphere are expanding internationally. In addition to promoting a wide range of international collaborative research, the institute is opening up nationwide shared-use facilities, equipment, databases, and research projects to researchers from universities and research institutions abroad as part of its new role as a shared-use and collaborative research hub. Furthermore, it is making significant contributions to the advancement of science and technology in the international community, particularly in the Asian region.
Research missions
The Research Institute for Sustainable Humanosphere has established five missions and aims to contribute to society, including the implementation of research results.
Flagship Collaborative Research
The purpose of this project is to support project-based joint research that has been conducted individually by the core research department and other departments, and to promote the visualization of such research.
Humanosphere Asia Research Node
We are strengthening the hub functions for international collaborative research, advancing the development of international human resources to support and further develop humanosphere science, and addressing global challenges.
Center for Future Pioneering Research on the Humanosphere
The Center for Sustainable Humanosphere Future Development has been established as a research organization to explore further possibilities in the field of humanosphere science.
