The MU radar, which is the first large-scale MST radar with a two-dimensional active phased array antenna system, was selected as IEEE Milestone which honors significant technical achievements in all areas associated with IEEE. For instance, the Yagi-Uda antenna and the Tokaido Shinkansen were approved so far. The dedication commemorative ceremony is held in May, 2015.
