IR irradiation enables us to know the functional groups consist of the organic macromolecules. In wood science, FTIR is powerful method to analyze the chemical structure changed by chemical treatment or thermal affection from peaks specific of cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin. In this laboratory, adding the typical transmittance mode, ATR method and micro-spectroscopy were equipped, which makes possible to nondestructive analyze in less time. |
