研究室所有の実験機器 -devices in the lab-
当研究室では有機物(昆虫、キノコ）から無機物(炭素材料）まで、様々な研究ができます。
木材等の生物劣化研究に必要な木材害虫（シロアリ、ヒラタキクイムシ、ケブカシバンムシ）や木材腐朽菌（担子菌ライブラリーも）を飼育・継代培養しています。鹿児島県に野外試験地もあります。炭素材料等の研究に資する電気式炭化炉、通電加熱装置、蛍光X線分析装置、エネルギー分散型X線分光装置付属走査電子顕微鏡、電子エネルギー損失分光装置付属透過電子顕微鏡、比表面積/細孔分布測定装置、小角X線散乱装置、顕微ラマン分光装置、X線光電子分光分析装置、レーザーフラッシュ装置も所有しています。
We have many devices for both biology to material science. They will help your research in many ways. We have TEM, SEM, Raman spectrometry, GC/MS etc together with lab rearing insects (termites, wood attacking beetles) and fungal (Wood decaying fungi, Basidiomycota library, entomopathogenic fungi) recourse. Also a field study areas in Kagoshima prefecture.
